Summer offers you so much: warm forgiving weather, the radiant sunshine, but also some sad cystic acne on your face. You’re probably familiar with pimples but red, large, and painful deep breakout on your skin means that you have something mucheviler- cystic acne.

This acne is just as bad as an ‘F’ grade because you feel it coming before you actually get to see it. Therefore, we are mentioning 4 hacks to clear these bumpy roads that lead to flawless skin.
1. Rub that cool ice on your face
Stop Dunkin’ them Donuts in your face, and start dunking your face in a bowl of ice. Or, instead, just rub some ice on your face.
Ice helps by reducing inflammation. Therefore, it brings the pus to the surface of the skin. It also improves blood circulation and tightens the skin’s pores. This doesn’t eradicate the acne, but it is a quick way to reduce it in appearance. So, start freezing up water and rub some ice on your face.
2. Green Tea Leaves are here to save your day (read: skin)
Green Tea is anti-inflammatory and therefore decreases the redness and inflammation present on your face. Moreover, the anti-oxidants present in this tea treat acne scars.
To make a Green Tea face wash, you will only need green tea leaves (or matcha tea) and some water. Brew some tea like you would do to drink, and allow it to cool. Now pour it in a spray bottle and apply it to your face. Allow it to dry, and then rinse your face with cold water.
3. Make your skin as sweet as honey
Beauty bloggers swear by honey as their go-to product to treat acne. Honey has an osmotic effect on the skin, which means that it pushes out fluid and lessens the inflammation.
To use honey, you need to first wipe your face properly with a gentle cleanser. Now, take some Manuka honey and rub it on your face before sleeping. Voila, the next morning not only will it clear your acne but also help you glow better than the sun shining right out your window.
4. Stop popping Aspirin and start popping the acne
Aspirin is mostly used for headaches, fevers, muscle aches and toothaches. But, did you know that it can also be used to treat your acne? No? Well, we have you covered.
Aspirins have salicylic acid that treats inflammation and dries out the acne. To use aspirin for the acne, crush some tablets up and add a teaspoon of water to create a smooth paste. Now, apply the paste directly to the acne and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and apply moisturizer.
In brief, these are tried and tested ways of fixing acne. If, however, you have severe acne, then consult a dermatologist instead of self-medicating. You can try to use these methods to get the skin that everyone raves about. So stop using that Instagram filter and start using these beauty methods that won’t be heavy on your pocket, instead.
