2 cancer causing foods you might have eaten today

Cancer is the abnormal and unusual growth of the cells in your body and cancer can occur at any part of your body. However certain lifestyle choices and even diet expose you to the risk of developing cancer. Today, most of our food including vegetables and meat are processed and not pure or organic. This artificialness to the things we have consumed has not only stripped the nutrients from these foods bit also turned these seemingly healthy foods into cancer spreading bombs which we continue to invest in our bodies. With almost 1.5 million people diagnosed with cancer every year, it is high time to look into the food that we eat which can increase the growth of cancer-causing cells in our bodies and also find alternatives of these food items by striking them off completely from our grocery list.

Canned tomatoes

Actually, most canned foods are a concern because of what the can is lined with. The lining of almost all canned foods is made with a chemical called bisphenol-A, or BPA.

Tomatoes are exceptionally dangerous due to their high acidity, which seems to cause BPA to leech from the lining of the can into the tomatoes themselves. The level of BPA can be so high in fact; you should seriously consider not feeding them to children. Due to FDA laws, there are no standards for labeling BPA so simply because a can does not say it has it does not mean that it does not contain BPA. Be safe and avoid cans. Cook fresh or buy glass bottles.

Processed Meats

If you had sausage or bologna slices in your sandwich for breakfast today, you should be worried. This is because these contain processed meat which is actually meat that contains a lot of preservatives to increase their life and these are the main agents of increasing growth of cancer cells in the body.
